Supporter Care Officer / Administrator (Fundraising)

The Fundraising Department raises money to support the charitable projects that are over and above what local authorities are able to fund and offers the people they support the kind of services that make a real difference.
Working as part of the Data and Compliance Team, you will be part of a driven and high achieving and successful Fundraising Team.
Position: National Fundraising Supporter Care Officer
Location: Whitefriars, Bristol, BS1
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £23,747 per annum
Closing date: Friday 5 October 2018
Interviews: Friday 12 October 2018
About the role
The National Fundraising Supporter Care Officer is responsible for supporting the National Fundraising team in all aspects of Supporter Care. Key responsibilities will include implementing and developing our client's Supporter Care Strategy, building relationships with our client supporters and supporting the Database Officer to maintain and develop an effective database.
About you:
The successful candidate will either be educated to degree level or have significant equivalent work experience. You will have proven administration/clerical experience and numeracy and literacy skills, with ability to compose letters to internal and external customers.
Additionally, you will have in depth experience of, and competence in using Raiser’s Edge to create queries, export information, use dashboards and undertake other data requests. Up to date knowledge of relevant fundraising laws and codes of practice is also essential. Experience of working in the charity sector or sales/customer service environment would be an advantage.
You must have the ability to travel across England with occasional overnight stays, either to attend training courses or meetings, and the ability at times to work outside the “normal” working week and be flexible about working hours.
